Minister Maropene Ramokgopa conducts oversight visit Mankweng Hospital Thuthuzela Care Centre, 16 Oct
The Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Hon. Maropene Ramokgopa, will today, Friday, 16 October 2026, conduct an oversight visit to the Thuthuzela Care Centre at Mankweng Hospital in the Capricorn District, Limpopo Province, at 12:00.
The visit forms part of the Minister’s Frontline Service Delivery Monitoring (FSDM) oversight responsibilities, which seek to assess the quality of public services, identify service delivery challenges and strengthen accountability across government institutions.
The oversight visit will provide an opportunity to assess the provision of services and support to survivors of gender-based violence and other forms of sexual violence, as well as to identify areas requiring intervention to improve service delivery and ensure that survivors receive appropriate, timely and dignified care.
Through these oversight interventions, the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) continues to strengthen government’s commitment to responsive, effective and people-centred public services, while ensuring that frontline institutions deliver on their mandates.
The findings and observations from the visit will help inform efforts to address identified gaps, improve institutional performance and strengthen coordination among relevant stakeholders.
