Đurić Confers with Bolivia’s Foreign Minister

The Foreign Ministers of Serbia and Bolivia signed an Agreement on the Abolition of Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports, which, as they emphasised, represents an initial step towards fostering closer ties between the two countries.

Đurić congratulated his Bolivian counterpart on his recent appointment and wished him every success in the discharge of his important responsibilities.

The Serbian Foreign Minister highlighted the considerable scope for further deepening cooperation between the two countries, particularly through more intensive political contacts and exchanges of visits by officials at the high and highest levels.

Đurić expressed his gratitude for Bolivia’s principled position of not recognising the unilaterally declared independence of so-called “Kosovo”, as well as for its support for Serbia on this issue within international organisations.

Today’s meeting in New York also provided an opportunity for Đurić to convey to his Bolivian counterpart that Serbia would greatly appreciate Bolivia’s participation in the Specialised Expo 2027 in Belgrade. He expressed his hope that Bolivia would give renewed consideration to the possibility of taking part in the event, which would provide an opportunity to showcase the country’s potential to a broad international audience and contribute further to strengthening cooperation between Serbia and Bolivia.
