Đurić Confers with Tunisia’s Foreign Minister in New York

Reaffirming Serbia’s interest in further intensifying political dialogue and promoting high-level exchanges, the Serbian Foreign Minister extended an invitation to Minister Nafti to visit Serbia.

Đurić expressed his gratitude to Tunisia for its firm and principled support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, as well as for its support on issues of particular importance to Serbia.

The two Ministers also reflected on the High-Level Commemorative Meeting marking the 65th anniversary of the First Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement and underscored the continued relevance of the Movement’s principles in today’s geopolitical environment.

Turning to economic cooperation, the interlocutors noted the considerable scope for its further development, as well as for closer ties in the fields of culture and education.

The two Ministers also discussed practical steps related to Tunisia’s participation in the Specialised Expo 2027 in Belgrade. Đurić emphasised that the event will provide an excellent opportunity for Tunisia to showcase its potential and explore new avenues for cooperation with Serbia.
