Đurić Confers with Sudan’s Foreign Minister

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Đurić met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Sudan Mohieddin Salem, who participated in the Commemorative Meeting marking the 65th anniversary of the First Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.

Đurić noted that the meeting provided a valuable opportunity for an open exchange of views on bilateral relations and for discussions on issues of national importance to both sides.

He emphasised that there is considerable scope for cooperation between Serbia and Sudan, which should be further explored through more intensive political dialogue and concrete forms of cooperation.

Turning to economic relations, Đurić highlighted the potential for increasing bilateral trade and strengthening cooperation, particularly in the fields of agriculture and education.

Minister Đurić invited students from Sudan to take advantage of the scholarships available under the “World in Serbia” programme and welcomed the official confirmation of Sudan’s participation in the Specialised Expo 2027 in Belgrade.
