Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi addresses University of Johannesburg Combating Corruption Summit, 2 Sept

The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Ms Mmamoloko Kubayi, will deliver the keynote address at the University of Johannesburg's Combating Corruption Summit on Wednesday, 02 September 2026, at the Kingsway Campus in Auckland Park. The Minister will address the Summit under the theme, "Justice as the Cornerstone of Integrity: Turning Accountability into Action".

Now in its third year, the Combating Corruption Summit is an annual initiative of the University of Johannesburg's Office of the General Counsel. Since its inception in 2024, the Summit has developed into a platform that convenes leaders from different sectors to exchange perspectives, share experiences and consider practical responses to corruption.

The Minister's participation will enrich the Summit by offering reflections on justice as an anchor of integrity and the protection of whistleblowers. It will further provide an opportunity to examine some of the challenges confronting the fight against corruption and the responsibility of institutions and society in ensuring greater accountability.
