Armenia's PM in Moscow for Talks with Putin
Pashinyan confirmed his arrival personally, posting a video of his landing to his official Telegram channel alongside details of the planned meeting with the Kremlin chief.
The Armenian leader was unambiguous in his announcement: "I have arrived in the Russian Federation on a working visit."
Groundwork for the visit had been laid a day earlier, when the Kremlin press service outlined the meeting's agenda, flagging Russia-Armenia bilateral cooperation, Eurasian integration, and economic and transport connectivity across the Southern Caucasus as the principal topics on the table.
The visit comes at a diplomatically charged moment for Yerevan, which has been quietly recalibrating its foreign policy posture in recent years — deepening engagement with the European Union and United States while navigating its historically complex and increasingly strained ties with Moscow. Wednesday's talks are expected to offer a clearer read on where that delicate balancing act currently stands.
